Service Requirements
Acorn Environmental have a thorough understanding of current UK contaminated land legislation and guidance and undertakes work in accordance with current best practice. We are constantly seeking to improve this through our in-house expertise and our practical experience.
Services include:
- Preparation of Phase 1 environmental audits;
- Design and carry out Phase 2 ground investigations and risk assessments;
- Design and supervise remedial works;
- Assess and advise on potential remediation liabilities and costs
- Perform in the role of managing consultant, managing agent or project/programme manager.
We can also supplement our in-house team by drawing on our Associates, many of whom are leaders in their field.
We work closely with you to understand your needs and generally work in a bespoke manner and can work either independently or supplement your organisations’ in-house project team. We are used to collaborative working and have good links with many other professional service providers including: urban designers; civil engineers; site investigation; and remedial works contractors.
We regularly take the lead role in discussions with local authority or Environment Agency regulators, and have key specialists and facilitators who are experienced at communicating with residents and other parties affected by land contamination.
